Laura + Phil’s Autumnal Wedding. In the beautiful country hotel that is Mitton Hall. A venue I hadn’t previously worked at but knew it well as its in my old stomping ground of Lancashire. I was so excited to work here and explore what the venue had to offer and I wasn’t disappointed. There are so many great features to this hotel for a Wedding venue, beautiful tiered gardens at the back overlooking the fields, the building itself is full of original features, huge inglenook fires with comfy sofas and chic interior styling. The reception room itself floods with light from the glazed ceiling and the staff…really know their stuff! and the food…Mmm Mmmmm!
I met up with the girls at Mitton Hall on the Friday morning, snapping away at all the details that make each wedding so unique and getting to know the girls. I met Laura’s Mum, Linda, the lovely Linda who years ago helped me and my little girl out of a housing crisis. I possibly had the odd teary meltdown (cringe) in her office and although I did thank her at the time, it wasn’t until our paths crossed again 7 years later that I realise just how important getting that home for us was back then and that I should let her know just how much her efforts meant to us! The day of the wedding didn’t seem an appropriate time *lol* so here it is Linda…Thank you so very much for your kindness and hard-work all those years ago! It was a pleasure to meet you again and capture your daughter’s very special day.
Here are the highlights of that DAY. A couple that are clearly made for each other, Laura and Phil, who spent their day giggling and having the time of their lives. I’m left with a warm, fuzzy feeling inside and a new love for the Pina Colada song. A first dance first!
Enjoy your blogpost Mr + Mrs Wilson, I hope it brings back wonderful memories from your day. Your full collection will be ready next week. Thank you so much for having me with you on your BIG DAY and I wish you all the happiness in the world xx
